A celebration of our new chapter.

Hair by Desailee officially opened its doors at our new Qormi salon on 1 August 2026, but we wanted to give ourselves a little time to settle into the space, welcome our first clients and put the finishing touches on everything before celebrating. After months of planning, renovating and bringing the salon to life, we finally held our opening-night gathering on 12 August, surrounded by family, friends and the people who have supported us along the way.

It was a chance to slow down, share the space we had worked so hard to create and celebrate this new chapter properly. Seeing familiar faces fill the salon, chatting together and enjoying the evening made all those little details feel worthwhile.

There was no better way to mark the occasion than spending time with the people who have encouraged us along the way. From catching up outside to sharing a moment inside the salon, the evening was a reminder that this journey has never been ours alone.

We are grateful to everyone who came, sent their wishes or supported Hair by Desailee from the beginning.

More than an opening, this was a chance to appreciate the journey behind the salon and the people who helped bring it to life. Having a quiet photograph together amid the celebrations made it a night to remember.

A special thank-you to Aiana for beautifully setting up and styling the food table, making everything feel extra welcoming. They also prepared refreshing lemon water and a chilled hibiscus cold brew, served in jars so guests could help themselves throughout the evening. And alongside the savoury bites, there were homemade coconut, lemon and Biscoff balls to enjoy, too. It was these thoughtful little touches that made the celebration feel even more special.
